Lay back, act natural, and let’s take some pictures!
This isn’t about a photoshoot. It’s about you, your loved ones, and your memories! Forget about feeling awkward in front of the camera, stressing about where to look, or pleading with your kids to smile. Just relax & enjoy some time with the people you love, while a friend with a camera just happens to be there (occasionally giving prompts to help bring out that natural love and fun). My process is laid-back and natural, and my goal is to capture couples & families being their authentic selves. Sure, we'll get some of those classic 'everybody-smile-at-the-camera' sh0ts that grandma will hang on her wall, but my goal is to get lots of genuine joy & intimacy captured in these pictures, because that's what you want to remember for years to come.
The Process

Contact
Once you’ve decided which session you want, or if you have further questions, fill out the form on the contact page or contact me on Instagram or Facebook, and I will get back to you ASAP to book your session! A 50% deposit is required at time of booking to reserve your spot.
02.
Meet
To minimize awkwardness the day of, we'll schedule a time beforehand to call or message to get to know each other a little bit and talk about your vision for your shoot. If you have kiddos, I'll ask what they're into so that I can better engage with them during picture time.
03.
Picture
The big day! We’ll chat a little and get comfortable while I prepare my equipment. Then, we'll start taking pictures! Don't worry about posing, just relax and follow my lead, and I'll make sure you get some great shots.
04.
Delivery
Within the next few days, I will likely send you a couple sneak peeks from your session. Then within a couple weeks, you will receive an album by email with your fully edited, digital images!
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
The biggest thing to remember is just to relax! The more you can just kick back and enjoy yourself during your shoot, the better pictures we can get! Be sure to let me know if it's your first time at booking, and I will guide you through every step from picking outfits to posing.
What should I wear?
When you book a shoot, I will send you an outfit guide and also give you access to my client closet. But, the quick answer is: in this desert scenery, neutrals and earth tones look fantastic! I recommend wearing complementing colors, but not matching outfits. You want each person to stand out and have their own look!
How many pictures will I receive?
You will receive a minimum number of pictures based on the type of session you selected (see investment page for details). If we get even more great pictures than the minimum, you'll probably get some bonus ones thrown in there, too!
Are you available outside of Tucson?
Yes! I love to travel! Shoot me a message, and we'll see what we can work out. Additional travel fees will be involved to cover my travel time & expenses. I also occasionally offer sessions in locations I am already traveling to that don't have any additional travel charge. Follow my socials to track those!
What types of photography do you do?
I specialize in family & couples photography, but I am more than happy to branch out sometimes! Let me know what specialty you're looking for, and I'll let you know what I can do (and if I can't do it, I'll gladly recommend someone who can)!
What's your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
I do ask for a 50% deposit up-front when booking, to protect my time and reserve your slot, but I also understand that life happens and I want you to get the pictures you pay for! If for some reason, you can't make it to your shoot, just let me know as soon as possible and I will gladly try to find a time that works for both of us to reschedule.
