THE EXPERIENCE
My process is laid-back and natural, and my ultimate goal is to capture people (whether that's individuals, couples or families) being their authentic selves. Sure, we can get some of those classic 'everybody-smile-at-the-camera' shots that grandma will hang on her wall. But my hope with every session is to get lots of genuine joy, love & intimacy captured in your pictures, because that's what you really want to remember for years to come. I'll walk you through posing, but a lot of it will simply be prompting you to do various activities with your loved ones that will naturally lead to sweet, genuine moments that I can capture on camera. The less it feels like a photoshoot and the more you forget that I'm even there, the better.
The Process

Contact
Fill out the form on my contact page or contact me directly through DM's on Instagram or Facebook, and I will get back to you ASAP to get your session booked! 50% deposit is due at booking to secure your session.

QUESTIONNAIRE
To minimize any awkwardness the day of, I'll send you a questionnaire beforehand to fill out to help me get to know you better and to establish exactly what kind of pictures you are looking for. I'll also send you my location guide and styling guide to help you achieve your dream photoshoot looks.
03.
Pictures
The big day! We’ll chat a little and get comfortable while I prepare my equipment. Then, we'll start taking pictures! Don't worry about posing, just relax and follow my lead, and I'll make sure you get some great shots and (hopefully) have a great time while we're doing it.
04.
Delivery
Within the next few days, I will likely send you a couple sneak peeks from your session. Then within a few weeks, you will receive an album by email with your fully edited, digital gallery!
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
The biggest thing to remember is just to relax! The more you can just kick back and enjoy yourself during your shoot, the better pictures we can get! Be sure to let me know if it's your first time at booking, and I will guide you through every step from picking outfits to posing.
What should I wear?
When you book a shoot, I will send you a styling guide with lots of details. But, the quick answer is: in the Arizona desert scenery; neutrals and earth tones look gorgeous! I recommend wearing complementing colors, but not matching outfits. You want each person to stand out and have their own look!
How many pictures will I receive?
You will receive a minimum number of pictures based on the type of session you selected (see investment page for details). If we get even more great pictures than the minimum (and I almost always do), you'll probably get some bonus ones thrown in there, too!
Are you available outside of Tucson?
Yes! I love to travel! Shoot me a message, and we'll see what we can work out. Some additional travel fees may be involved, depending on the distance. I also occasionally offer sessions in locations I am already traveling to that don't have any additional travel charge. Follow my socials to track those!
What types of photography do you do?
I specialize in family & couples photography, but I am more than happy to branch out sometimes! Let me know what specialty you're looking for, and I'll let you know what I can do (and if I can't do it, I'll gladly recommend someone who can)!
What's your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
I do ask for a 50% deposit up-front when booking, to protect my time and reserve your slot, but I also understand that life happens and I want you to get the pictures you pay for! If for some reason, you can't make it to your shoot, just let me know as soon as possible and I will gladly try to find a time that works for both of us to reschedule.
